THX Spatial Audio for Gaming Headsets runs on Windows 10 and 11 machines and is implemented through an Audio Processing Object (APO) that provides customizable, software-based, digital signal processing for gaming headsets. The THX APO can be implemented within your device’s USB driver and processes audio using the host’s PC’s operating system (OS).
  

• Bluetooth/TWS: THX Spatial Audio provides a rich, immersive audio experience, despite the processing and memory limitations inherent with Bluetooth and TWS technologies. THX provides a proprietary library for customizable, software-based, digital signal processing for stereo and spatial audio rendering. The library, when activated, controls all system-level audio and provides binaural audio signals which allow the listener to perceive stereo audio as spatial audio.  

• Speakers: THX Spatial Audio provides an immersive sound experience over stereo speakers that dramatically expands your soundstage without the need for additional speakers or content specifically mixed for immersive audio. The addition of THX Crosstalk Cancellation technology creates a binaural listening environment over stereo speakers and minimizes coloration of sound outside the “sweet spot.” 

• PC: THX Spatial Audio provides an immersive sound experience on PCs over stereo loudspeakers, as well as 3.5mm headphones. THX Spatial Audio for Windows PCs runs on Windows 11 machines and is implemented through an Audio Processing Object (APO) that provides customizable, software-based, digital signal processing for multi- channel audio.  

• Mobile: THX Spatial Audio for Mobile enables an immersive sound experience on mobile devices over stereo loudspeakers, as well as USB, Bluetooth, or 3.5mm headphones and delivers maximal acoustic performance, custom-tuned to the device’s unique hardware architecture.

• 7.1.4 – Allows users to fully experience the growing list of content that provides audio cues from above without an expensive speaker set-up through virtual height speakers that are adjustable to fine tune for the intended environment  

• AI Head Tracking – Using a built-in or third party attached webcam or six degrees of freedom Inertial Measurement Unit IMU sensor, users will experience even greater realism when their head moves, as the environment remains fixed in response to low-latency adaptive spatial audio cues that faithfully recreate the real-world experience of human movement within the virtual environment.   

• Parametric EQ – Highly professional studio-grade 7-band parametric EQ for fine tuning critical sound cues. Includes adjustable high and low shelf, visual response curve of parameters and ability for users to load, save and share with others.   

• Intelligent Audio Format Optimization –  AI-based detection maximizes settings based on content type and audio format and notifies the user when optimal settings are selected or modified. THX can also facilitate manual adjustments and communicate requirements
