According to video commentary on the Red Tails website bringing the true life story of the Tuskegee Airmen to film was a project that brewed in George Lucas’ mind for nearly 20 years. In order to pay due diligence to the Tuskegee Airmen—their struggles and victories—the development of this film required respect, truthfulness and absolute attention to detail.

SXSW is just around the corner and THX’s Technical Program Director, Chris Armbrust is looking forward to being THX’s man on the street in Austin.
