When measuring the trailer before submission, begin the measurement at the first audible sound of the trailer (excluding sync-pop), and end measurement on the last sound. For accuracy, please be sure to take the measurement as close to the first and last sound as possible.

To receive TASA compliance certification, the final measurement must not exceed the TASA upper volume limit of 85 Leq(m). Leq(m) measures decibels over time, creating an average, whole number.
