HOW TO ENTER

The Entry Period for the daily Grand Prize drawing begins on or about 1:00:00 PM PST on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 (“Start Date”) and ends at 1:00:00 PM PST on Thursday, September 1, 2011 (“End Date” and such continuous dates, the “THX Trivia Challenge”). The THX Trivia challenge, consisting of 5 questions, will be posted to the THX Facebook page at approximately 1:00:00 PM EST on Tuesday August 23, 2011 . Participants who complete the THX Trivia challenge by answering all 5 questions correctly and receive a score of 100%, will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win the Grand Prize. You may complete the THX Trivia Challenge through the Wildfire application on the Facebook Platform. You can also find the application on the “THX Trivia Challenge” tab on the [THX Ltd. Fan Page on Facebook], by using the widget on the THX website and by clicking the link provided on the THX Twitter page. Limit one entry per person. Entries that do not comply with these official rules & regulations (“Official Rules & Regulations”) in all respects are ineligible and void. All dates are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of THX Ltd. (“Sponsor”).

ELIGIBILITY

Participation in the THX Trivia Challenge is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older at time of entry and have internet access. Employees of THX Ltd., participating advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers are not eligible.

RANDOM DRAWING

Four (4) Grand Prize Winners will be chosen at approximately 2:00 PM PST September 1, 2011 among eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing shall be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the Sweepstakes. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions are allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater approximate value due to prize unavailability.

By entering the THX Trivia Challenge, you agree to have your name displayed on any THX Ltd. website, Twitter or other social media sites without any fee or other form of compensation.

The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

THE FOLLOWING PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED

One complimentary seat in either the THX Certified Professional Home Theater Level 1 or THX Certified Video Calibration Level 1 education class will be awarded. All prizes are awarded “as is,” and cannot be returned or exchanged in any way.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Entrants must meet the eligibility criteria and enter in the manner described above. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules & Regulations and the decisions of the Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED). Entries that fail to comply with these Official Rules & Regulations shall be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, invalid, incomplete or illegible entries, including without limitation any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer resulting from any cause, including without limitation by downloading any materials related to the Sweepstakes or Sponsor. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Grand prize winners will be required to complete, sign by witness of notary, and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

All applicable federal, state/local laws and regulations apply. Each potential grand prize winner must execute and return to Sponsor a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility /Prize Acceptance Form in form provided by Sponsor within seven (7) business days of notification of winning. Noncompliance will result in forfeiture of prize and disqualification in which case an alternate winner will be selected in accordance with the above procedures. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives, from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand, infringement of any intellectual property rights, or any other liability that may arise from their entry, acceptance and/or use of any prize or their participation in this Sweepstakes, or from any misuse or, malfunction of any prize awarded. Sponsor has the sole and binding right to decide all matters and disputes arising from the Sweepstakes and its determination shall be final and binding on all entrants. The value of the prize may be taxable as income. Winner is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes that become due with respect to the prize. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and waive any and all rights to claim ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes itself. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner’s name, photograph, voice, statements made by or attributed to winner, and likeness for editorial, advertising, publicity, and legitimate business purposes (including but not limited to print, broadcast, and internet), without further compensation, except where prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. All questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes should be directed to Sponsor.

NOTIFICATION

Sponsor shall notify winner by email within one (1) business day after selection. Winner shall have three (3) business days from transmittal of notice to respond and claim a prize. If Sponsor is unable to contact Winner or if Winner does not respond within three (3) business days, the prize will be forfeited, the entrant will be disqualified, and another potential winner will be selected by the judges, as necessary. In case of a dispute related to the identity of an entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the username which made the entry. The “authorized account holder” is that person or entity who is assigned the username. Potential winners may be required to provide credible evidence to prove that the potential winner is an “authorized account holder” of the account associated with the winning entry.

FULFILLMENT

Winner will be contact on September 1, 2011 via email and given a complimentary seat in the class they have specified.

LIMITATIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to clarify or correct any typographical, printing, computer programming, calculation, or operating errors associated with the Sweepstakes at any time, including during the Sweepstakes Period. In the unlikely event that Sponsor is unable to continue the Sweepstakes or provide the prizes for any reason, including but not limited to: computer hacking, tampering, virus or bugs, delay or failure to act, bankruptcy, negligence, or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, Sponsor shall not be held responsible for cost or delivery of obligations or prizes as defined by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for Winner’s travel expenses (ie lodging, air fare, etc.).

CAUTION

ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE THE SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANTS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

WHO WON

The name of the winner will be posted on www.thx.com , Twitter and other social media sites for two months after the Sweepstakes has ended.

CHOICE OF LAW

Except where prohibited by law, all entrants agree that any disputes, claims and causes of action, or any issues regarding the construction, validity, and interpretation or enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect any other provision so long as the general intent of these official rules remains in effect.
